A striking and authentic French Art Deco pendant light by EZAN, dating to the 1930s. This exceptional fixture features its original hand-worked copper body paired with a beautifully textured stalactite glass shade, creating a warm, diffused glow that is quintessentially Art Deco.
The copper retains a rich, naturally aged patina that highlights nearly a century of character. The original deteriorated clear lacquer was carefully removed with a gentle vinegar bath, but the surface was intentionally left unpolished to preserve its authentic appearance. For those who prefer a brighter finish, the copper can easily be polished to a brilliant shine.
Signed by EZAN and sourced in Provence, France, this is a wonderful example of French Art Deco lighting. Professionally rewired for the United States and ready to install, it accommodates a standard E26 medium-base bulb.

Beautiful vintage condition. Professionally rewired for use in the U.S. with a standard E26 medium-base socket. The stalactite glass shade has one small chip to the inside rim (shown in the last photo). This is completely concealed when the fixture is installed and cannot be seen from below, so it does not detract from the pendant's appearance or display.
