Plau studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute under Arthur Mathews and later taught for many years in the public schools of San Francisco and Los Angeles. She lost many of her works in the earthquake and fire of 1906. Her work includes portraits and still lifes. She exhibited at the San Francisco Art Association, Mark Hopkins Inst, Sketch Club (SF), and the Long Beach AA. Wood frame. Signed "Plau" lower left. 26"H x 36"L. See less
