Jugend wine glass style for white wine designed and manufactured by the Theresienthal Glassworks Co established in 1836. Theresienthal Glassworks was a priviledged crystal glass company for the royals of Germany. The glass design includes a trumpet shaped base in light green optic swirl glass, knob stem and colorless bowl with optic cuts and handpainted grapes, leaf and vine in a similar shade of green complimenting the color glass of the base. Enjoy with a bottle of Trockenbeerenauslese ( yes, I spelled that right ) or Gewurztraminer. Prost! Cheers! See less

No cracks or crazing of stems or bowls and top rims are smooth. Glass is clear and vibrant on all. All base rims on this set are a little rough in finish - which research showed was common with this type of glasswork style. less
