Submitted for your approval, a Universal 35mm Motion Picture Model C Camera made Circa 1928. It was the 61st camera built in that year. Made in Chicago by Burke and James, Inc.
This beautiful camera had been correctly restored, 25 years ago, by famed collector Victor Duncan, A.S.C. and the movement, while original and rebuilt and complete, is not turning at this time. Complete with lens, viewfinder, hand crank.
A gorgeous display camera from the 1920s. Few exist like this and we can entertain freeing up the movement for the buyer or selling as presented.
Era correct wood tripods with heads are additionally available for your display.
Gear head shown in photo is an early Universal geared head and is not included in the price but additionally available.
As with all of our pieces, a signed and sealed “Certificate of Authenticity”, suitable for framing, is included with your purchase.
Chairish sells electronic items only with the display as the intended use. The electronic elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish.
