Vintage Black Lacquer Chinoiserie Wedding Chest With Mother of Pearl Inlay mid - late 20th c. The mother of pearl scenes feature unique sailboats that change on every side with natural elements and floral details added throughout. It is constructed of black lacquer with camphor wood lining the inside with a brass ornate clasp and hinges and a removable sliding tray inside.
The approximate weight of the chest is 40 - 50 lbs.
