Huge antique painted canvas "Le Cercle de Jeux", signed Louis Alphonse David (1798-1849), depicting a gambling scene in a very cozy game room. David entered l'Ecole des Beaux Arts in 1817 where he was a student of Girodet. He exposed in the Salon de Paris from 1831-1849. A must for a game room or a large den!
