How amazing is the rare piece of … Read more Rare Vintage Incolay Stone Raised Relief In Shadow Box Wall Hanging 8" Diameter. How amazing is the rare piece of Incolay Stone!!!! I have seen many trinket and jewelry boxes, plates, clocks and plaques made from Incolay, but never a cameo such as this. Eight (8) inches in diameter, with an intricate scrolling pattern around the outside wall. The stone color itself is really elegant. A dark rose pink and white veins. There is normally a glass cover, but that unfortunately was damaged beyond repair. The real piece de resistance is the cameo. From research, and this was really time consuming to find, it is a take of Marie Antoinette in her garden. This is a very detailed piece indeed. The piece as a whole measures 8" D x 2" tall. The back has an eyelet for hanging, but felt pads also, if you prefer to place on table top.
