Stunning antique early Meiji period (1860's-1880's) hand painted Japanese porcelain curved pillow box! Beautiful deep red glazes with gold accents and attention to the detail in the various fauna.
It measures 6" by 3 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" tall. It is in very good vintage condition, with age appropriate wear. No chips or cracks that I can see, but general wear throughout.
