Signed "Gleiforst" lower right. Unframed. Helen Mae Enoch Gleiforst was born in Crete, Nebraska, moved to Oregon and studied at the University of Oregon. She then settled in Beverly Hills where she began to paint. Her teachers were Nicolai Fechin, George Melcher, John Hubbard Rich, and Nell Walker Warner. A world traveler her favorite subjects were french scenes and figural paintings. Also an exceptional plein air California School landscape painter. See less
