His naked and chubby body is simply dressed in a drape, held on his left hip by a ribbon tied on his stomach. He holds in his right hand a book, which one could imagine being a collection of scores. Indeed, the Cherub sitting on a tree stump, has at his feet a Trumpet and a Tambourine.
