It opens with a door, … Read more Small piece of furniture, with a slightly curved front, topped with a thick marble throat.
It opens with a door, on brass knobs, inlaid with mahogany veneer underlined by a wood net. Its perimeter is in burr cedar. A chiseled bronze ring allows the draw.
The interior offers a removable shelf.
On each side, a column in solid mahogany adjoins a niche.
The belt, of identical marquetry, offers a vertical mahogany burl drawer also equipped with a chased ring.
The uprights, in diagonal veneer and connection, rest on long spindle turned legs finished with brass sabots.
The sides are made in the same spirit as the drawer fronts.
This small piece of furniture will please you for its wood species and its quality of manufacture.
