Chinese framed porcelain Buddhist temple plaque diptych of left and right Kuan Yins, Kuan Yin on the right seated on … Read more Chinese framed porcelain Buddhist temple plaque diptych of left and right Kuan Yins, Kuan Yin on the right seated on a lotus throne on the back of a Fu Lion with attendant, Kuan Yin on the left seated on a lotus throne on the back of an elephant with attendant, right holding a Ruyi sceptre, left holding the flower of enlightenment, both on a black ground in gilt line drawing throughout. Signed with six seal marks, in original, finely carved, Chinese heavy, hongmu frames with original Chinese bronze hangers. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
