Stunning c.2010 acrylic on canvas painting by well listed Dominican artist, Jhosy Jimenez, titled Prismatica! Great figurative modernist form, with absolutely amazing color and flow.
Jhosy Jimenez, born in 1961, in La Vega, Dominican Republic. He studied Fine Arts in the National School of Fine Arts.
It is signed lower left and on verso, and measures 20" wide by 32" tall. It is in very good condition as shown, with age appropriate wear to the canvas from moving, I see no chips, repairs, etc.. The stretcher does have a slight twist to it, which will obviously correct itself when framed.
