Peter Protzman’s design career began in Michigan where he spent over 10 years with Herman Miller. While there, he designed the award-winning Tubular Collection of furniture which remained in production for 20 years and is still sought-after by fans of Mid-Century Modern design. These chairs feature a tubular chrome trestle frame which supports the molded and upholstered back and seat.
The Red color wool upholstery is still in good condition with little wear and a few small tears. Herman Miller tag and authenticity on underside of each chair frame.

They have been professionally cleaned a few years back, but can probably benefit from another upholstery cleaning. The top portion of seats are a bit faded, but overall they have still retained the saturated red upholstery. There are a very small tears in the fabric on both chairs (as shown in photos.) less
