Markers' markings on the underside near handle, of 2 apposing lions rearing up, and in-between them is a cross topped crown, which denotes provenance of Sheffield, England, but beyond that we have not honed in on the exact silversmith. In great condition, with no pitting whatsoever. Small area within the coved meat entree whereupon copper is showing thru, about inch in diameter, otherwise in superb condition for era and use. A perfect inclusion for a soiree entree serving piece, for a cocktail party, hors d'oeuvres, sampler platter, etc., with aplomb sophistication. See less
