Painter, ceramist and sculptor, Guerrino Tramonti was born in Faenza on June 301915. He exhibited from a very young age as a sculptor to regional and national exhibitions: in 1931, at the age of just sixteen, he obtained the "Rimini" award; In 1932 and 1934 the 1st prize in the "Rubicone" competition of the city of Rimini. A little more than twenty years old, in 1938, he was awarded the 1st National Ceramics Competition organized by the city of Faenza. In the 1960s, artistic research reached new developments, passing from the majolica decorated with enamels under windows largely thick to new high temperature materials such as the stoneware and porcelain.
