The bowls incorporate pink, green, blue and white colored glass, all encased in clear glass. The swirling color pattern is created by layering molten glass and stretching the colors outward during the forming process. The aesthetic falls in line with 1970s Murano-inspired decorative glass, Mexican Tonala art glass, and American studio glass workshops that were producing organic, expressive forms during this period. The two pieces complement each other beautifully and make a bright, sculptural accent on a shelf, console, or coffee table. See less
