Claude Utley (American, 1955-2021) was the son of famed Northwest School painter Windsor Utley. He received private art lessons from Mark Tobey and was quite successful in his art career. He is known for his detailed, whimsical figures and use of color.
Despite the lack of color in this diminutive painting, it has such joy and whimsy. Perfect for a small space or in a gallery wall.
