A fantastic museum quality antique Spode bone china jug with white sprigged Bacchanalian putti ornaments and gilding over a high gloss light blue and white ground. Unmarked. This is pattern number 2063, first introduced circa 1814. The light blue color has been called Lilac by some collectors.
Measures approximately 9 inches wide from spout to handle x 6 1/4 inches tall.
