Decorated with organic elements that resembles sea fossils and shells and finished with an amazing blue speckled glazing. The lamp is mounted with a new light flax linen shade. Stoneware base signed at the bottom. Bodil Marie Nielsen was a recognized ceramicist who exhibited in Denmark and abroad. Her works were exhibited and sold at "Den permanente" in Vesterbro, Copenhagen and for a period in the 1960s her stoneware lamps were produced by the renown lamp manufacturer "Fog & Mørup", which gave her design a wider distribution.
