Johann Georg Seitz (1810 - 1870) was active/lived in Germany. He is known for Floral and fruit still life painting.
Johann Georg Seitz (born March 14, 1810 in Nuremberg, † April 16, 1870 in Vienna) was a German-Austrian painter.
He probably studied at the Vienna Academy. The artistic work (mostly oil paintings on canvas) is characterized by its still lifes with flowers or fruit fruits.
Some of his works have been exhibited at the academy.In the obituaries for his death, he was also referred to as an "excellent landscape painter".
