The irregular bark texture, cut-log end, projecting branches, and deeply weathered brown surface give the piece the convincing character of natural wood.

Low and sculptural, it is ideally proportioned for a small arrangement of herbs, moss, succulents, or freshly cut garden flowers. It would sit naturally on a French farmhouse windowsill, English country kitchen table, conservatory shelf, or weathered garden-room console.
