Swedish designer. Trained as a goldsmith and silversmith. Worked intially with various silver manufacturers, before turning to glass in 1959 when he was hired by orrefors. He remained at orrefors for ten years, designing engraved glass and tableware. In 1970 he began to work for dansk designs ltd in new york, working in plastic and stainless steel. In 1976 he returned to orrefors on a freelance basis, and started his own silversmithy in 1977. In 1989 he created a new glass service for the nobel prize banquet.
