It features a large-scale central cusped black medallion anchored with trefoil palmette finials at either end. The abrashed terra cotta colored field is covered with a floral branch pattern composed of blooming palmettes, lotus blossoms, serrated leaves, stylized florals, leafy tendrils, and a variety of botanical motifs. The elaborate corner spandrels are filled with opulent frondescence echoing the designs within the field. A Classic Herati border flanked with an inner and outer carnation Meander guard band with subsidiary barber pole guard stripes elegantly frame the composition, pulling together colors from throughout into a unified, harmonious design.
