This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak Kars rug features a center medallion filled with leafy tendrils, botanical motifs, French ribbons, and large curled sickle leaves reminisce of Ram's Horn motifs. The central medallion floats in an abrashed field with robust striations. A garland composed of acanthus leaves scrolls and blossoms of floral sprigs flanks the inside of the primary border. It is enclosed with a delicate leafy tendril border on a beige colored backdrop. Warm and inviting combined with the right amount of necessary aesthetic elements, this vintage Kars rug charms with ease and stays true to Fine craftsmanship and the simplicity of Russian Dachas Home style.
