Vintage Turkish Oushak Carpet Runner 05'03" x 12'06". Three dominant medallions quietly float on the abrashed red field of this beautiful vintage Turkish Oushak carpet runner. Each ornate medallion is filled with embellished florals and arabesque scrolls. Rendered in a refined color palette of red, brown, muted green, taupe, gold and beige, the variegated tones add life and depth to the composition. The pale shades of green appear throughout and contrast enigmatically with red rust hue. A warm golden border of gentle floral motifs delicately encloses this breathtaking Turkish design and while highlighting its symbolic Anatolian history.
