51810 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, 05'02 x 08'08.
Regal and sumptuous with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The medallion design and traditional colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly classic look. The abrashed red field features a large-scale hooked medallion decorated with an eight-point floral motif. Acanthus scrollwork and linear poles frame the medallion. Corner spandrels echo the medallion pattern along with brass accents that wave and curl from the corners. Meanwhile a border with S-hooks also known as Cengels and comb symbols protect against the evil eye. Tree of Life symbols further imbue the rug with layered meanings. This vintage Oushak rug is rich with Anatolian symbolism and sure to delight guests with every step taken.
Rendered in variegated shades of red, brown, ruby red, tan, crimson, sand, taupe, purple, brass, and black with other accent colors.
