Characterized by the cozy simplicity of French cottage style and romantic connotations, this hand-knotted silk vintage Persian Nain rug is poised to impress. An almond-shaped central medallion with scalloped edges anchored with palmette pendants flank either end surrounded by an all-over floral pattern composed of blooming palmettes, curled sickle leaves, leafy tendrils arabesque vines with peony, carnation, and lotus flowers spread across the abrashed beige field. Elaborate corner spandrels are adorned with opulent frondescence. It is framed with a complementary botanical palmette border flanked with an inner and outer meandering acanthus scroll guard band. Cottage appeal brings warmth and bucolic beauty into nearly any interior it graces. Rendered in variegated shades of beige, tan, sand, navy blue, ecru, taupe, ink blue, ecru, mushroom, sky blue, coffee, light gray, brown, cornflower blue, and greige with other neutral accent colors.
