Antique Persian Mohajeran Sarouk Rug with Jacobean Style 08'10 x 12'00. Vibrant colors with beguiling ambiance, this hand-knotted wool antique Persian Mohajeran Sarouk rug is poised to impress. The abrashed dark ruby red field is covered in an all-over floral pattern composed of floral sprigs, millefleur sprays, blooming palmettes, curved hyacinth, leafy tendrils, roses, and stylized florals. It is enclosed with a botanical palmette border flanked with an inner and outer botanical Meander guard band and subsidiary inner and outer carnation meander guard borders.
Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, cerulean, brick red, navy blue, taupe, tan, ecru, sand, and gray with other accent colors. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool.
