53758 Antique Persian Kashan Rug, 04'05 x 06'08.
Get ready to fall head over heels for this hand knotted antique Persian Kashan rug! Radiating from the center is a stepped lozenge medallion decorated with a cross motif and smaller diamonds. The distinctive diamond design was inspired by Joshegan carpets, being southwest of Kashan. The composition features an allover pattern of diamonds, each lozenge compartment consisting of different designs, the tree of life, weeping willows, diamonds within diamonds, botanical formations, cruciform-cross and floral vase motifs. And to ground all that beauty in a neat package, an equally elaborate border echoing the designs from within the field adds the finishing touch. This antique Persian Kashan rug is not an ordinary floor covering, but rather a work of art waiting to enrapture you to an enchanting oasis of your very own.
Rendered in variegated shades of red, navy blue, pink, brown, blue, taupe, rose and ink blue with other accent colors.
