This hand-knotted wool Persian Sultanabad rug features an all-over botanical trellis pattern spread across an abrashed cerulean hued field. An array of botanical motifs decorates the field in an elegant display of Harshang motifs, blooming palmettes, stylized florals, leafy tendrils, vinery, and organic amorphous shapes. It is enclosed with a palmette and boteh border flanked with a double inner and outer floral meander guard band.
