This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish … Read more 73890 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug with Rustic Style, Anatolian Turkish Prayer Rug 04'04 X 07'00. This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a large-scale boteh filled central medallion anchored with blooming palmettes at either end and dotted with scorpion motifs in each corner of the open, abrashed rustic red field. A saw-tooth band creates double mihrab niches flanked with an inner link of ram's horn motifs in alternating colors. The corner spandrels are filled with a Scorpion and multiple Ram's Horn motifs. It is enclosed with a compound border flanked with an inner and outer guard band. Rendered in variegated shades of red, paprika, cinnamon, light gray, greige, beige, sand, tan, ecru, almond, and sage. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Turkey. Measures: 04'04 X 07'00. See less
