This hand-knotted wool Persian Sultanabad rug features an all-over botanical lattice pattern spread across an abrashed sand-beige field. An array of botanical motifs decorates the field in an elegant display of Harshang motifs, blooming palmettes, curved sickle leaves, stylized florals, vinery, and organic amorphous shapes. It is enclosed with a botanical floral vase border flanked with a double inner and outer floral meander guard band.
