21462 Vintage Boujad Moroccan Rug, 06'00 x 09'09. Boho Jungalow meets Wabi-Sabi in this hand knotted wool vintage Berber Boujad Moroccan rug. The esoteric symbolism and vibrant color palette woven into this piece work together creating a happy state of equilibrium. A compartment panel design filled with ambiguous motifs and tribal symbols dominates the richly striated field. This particular piece is heavily ornamented with amulets, diamonds, Goz, cross motifs, Burdock, hourglass symbols and lozenges, all which represent femininity and protection. Aside from the rich cultural beliefs attached to each image, the prolific tribal motifs and natural elegance comes together into a network that is meaningful and beautiful.
