Showcasing a bold expressive design, incredible detail and texture, this hand-knotted wool vintage Berber Beni M'Guild Moroccan rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching diamond trellis and vibrant colors woven into this vintage Moroccan rug work together creating a truly unique look. The abrashed field features an all-over geometric pattern composed of double stacked concentric lozenges decorated with X-shapes, eight-point stars, fused triangles, diamonds, and ambiguous tribal motifs. A series of chevron V-shaped bands outline the diamond trellis creating an expansion effect. Historical richness and full of Ancient Berber symbolism, this vintage Beni M'Guild rug features traditional symbols of protection and femininity in the central area while the borders along the vertical sides traditionally represent the male's presence.
