Vintage plaster sculpture artist's casting of a man's head, circa early to mid 20th C, possibly 1920s, with a touch … Read more Vintage plaster sculpture artist's casting of a man's head, circa early to mid 20th C, possibly 1920s, with a touch of Art Deco style noted in the rendition of his stylized hair just over his forehead. We do not know who this gentleman was, but it appears to be a life cast, making this truly a one-of-a-kind piece. Intriguing display objèt for the library bookshelf or a free-standing pedestal as is, or could potentially be mounted to fit on a block stand or to wall on a hang, which we leave to the new owner if so desired. We note that the plaster is unsealed with a chalky surface, and the new owner may also chose to apply a sealant. Some light surface soil and faint yellowing seen, which adds to the vintage appeal of the piece in our view, and we also note that the top edge of one ear may have a small amount of loss.
