The Modern Hollow Knife and two Forks are in very good condition with some minor imperfections including a few scratches and slight tarnish as a result of age and normal use.

The Set includes the following:

9 1/8” Modern Hollow Knife - It has “Christofle” imprinted on the blade. The Chinon Pattern (Silverplate) was introduced in 1862. It weighs 2.89 ounces or 82 grams.

8 1/8” Fork - it shows the “Christofle OC” Mark. In 1935, Christofle introduced the third standard full mark. Instead of using the initials “CC”, it now contained the initials “OC.” The OC refers to “Orfevrerie Christofle” or Silversmith Christofle. It weighs 2.79 ounces or 79 grams.

7 3/4” Fork - It shows the “Christofle CC” Mark. Beginning in 1862, Christofle introduced a second standard mark. The “CC” mark was now put inside of a square box called the “poincon de responsabilite.” There is a rosette (flower). Another new element is the designation of the silver content in square shaped boxes (83). It weighs 1.98 ounces or 56 grams. See less
