The basket is made … Read more Here is a wonderful, vintage basket made in The People's Republic of China in the 1960-70's. The basket is made from natural wicker and bamboo. You can see that the wicker has a linear design around the body and a braided detail surrounding the top lip. The basket is supported with bamboo throughout with visible corner supports that extend all around the bottom base. I love that it has a slightly curved shape around the bottom corners. It's also a great size, not too big and not too small, which makes it perfect for blankets, pillows, towels, etc. See less
