  • "J K.: Not sure what the shipping cost is that you're seeing on Chairish, but my local shipper can deliver to NYC for $225 if they combine with another trip. Let me know if that works and I'll revise the shipping options. Thanks, Norine"

  • "Bummer. Chairish says "Unfortunately if the seller delegated Chairish to arrange the shipping, our white glove service would be the only option we provide for that particular item." so it's just a bit pricey all in for shipping to manhattan for me but it's a great piece for anyone at that price!"

  • "Hi and thank you. Are the corners pretty worn and soft? Like no longer sharp edges or is it just scruffed up and could be sanded and stained? Are there a lot of chips and dents on the table top (which I don't mind since it adds character). I would just get it sanded and restained. It just looks like it needs a little TLC to restore it to former glory. Let me ask chairish about shipping options before anything else."

  • "J K.: totally sturdy, and it sits flat. The wood legs are actually threaded at the top and they screw in to wood brackets on the underside of the table. Not sure what level of restoration you plan to do but the corners can be touched up. As far as shipping, please contact chairish to ask about other options. Do you know anyone who visits the North Fork?"

  • "Also does the table stand even on a surface or does it wobble? Are the legs loose and need to be retightened or would the table be able to be used as is?"

    Jan. 8, 2018, 4:23 a.m.

  • "Two questions. Do you think the corners can look good again if I restored this table or will it always have soft edges? Is there any way for us to work out cheaper shipping to manhattan? It seems so high and will probably end up taking 6 weeks."

  • "Melissa H.: Hi again Melissa. If you happen to stop in today I will let Kristin (who will be there today) know where the coffee tablecis to show you, and the chairs are on the floor. :)"

  • "Melissa H.: Hi Melissa! Sorry for the late response. Not sure if you stopped in yesterday, but yes that would be fine!"

  • "Hi, I'm interested in this table as well as the set of 5 windsor chairs that you also have listed. Totally random but I actually live in Mattituck. Any chance I could see them and possibly pick up tomorrow if they'll work for my space? Let me know, thanks Melissa"
