This is a gorgeous Vintage Original Hand-Signed Etching by Listed American Artist Annette Robyns (1914-1994) titled "Theodora" and numbered 4/35. It has lovely lines and gorgeous dark color - a stunning example of Robyns work. Signed in the lower right corner, titled, and numbered. Sold unframed as shown. Robyns studied under renowned artist, Fernand Leger and his influences are clear in her works. We have a small collection of her rare prints so please just back for more!

Condition: Image excellent. Margin has black smudging that can easily be covered with framing or cleaned.
Measurements: Strike is approx 9"x8" and it is approx 17.5"x15" total paper size.
About the Artist: Annette Robyns was born in New York on February 8, 1914. Robyns (neé Annette Robyns Rabinowitz) studied at the New York School of Industrial Art and continued in Paris with Fernand Leger. In the 1940s she settled in Los Angeles and obtained her M.A. degree at California State University. After her marriage to actor Donald Elson in 1961, she established the Robyns-Elson Gallery where she sold her works as well as those of other modernists. She exhibited with the Laguna Beach and Westwood Art Associations. Mrs. Elson died in Los Angeles on January 21, 1994. (Source: Edan Hughes)
