This is a gorgeous Vintage Original Hand-Signed Colored Etching by Listed American Artist Annette Robyns (1914-1994) depicting a young woman dancing under the night sky. It has lovely lines and gorgeous color - a stunning example of Robyns work. Signed on the reverse in the lower right corner. Sold unframed as shown. Robyns studied under renowned artist, Fernand Leger and his influences are clear in her works. We have a small collection of her rare prints so please just back for more!

About the Artist: Annette Robyns was born in New York on February 8, 1914. Robyns (neé Annette Robyns Rabinowitz) studied at the New York School of Industrial Art and continued in Paris with Fernand Leger. In the 1940s she settled in Los Angeles and obtained her M.A. degree at California State University. After her marriage to actor Donald Elson in 1961, she established the Robyns-Elson Gallery where she sold her works as well as those of other modernists. She exhibited with the Laguna Beach and Westwood Art Associations. Mrs. Elson died in Los Angeles on January 21, 1994. (Source: Edan Hughes)
