A rare early 19th-century Staffordshire ram bocage figurine with detailed foliage and classical appeal.
This early Staffordshire pottery has wonderful detail – the red and white ram’s sturdy horns and delicate legs, his alert eyes and raised eyebrows, the detail to his hooves, and the darling little lamb laying on the grassy knoll beneath him.
