A beautiful design featuring a serpentine crest rail with a laurel wreath wrapped cameo at the center featuring a distinguished gentleman. The cameo is flanked by decorative engravings along the shoulders of the back and perfectly placed over an elegant serpentine cut stretcher of filigree foliat. The back of the chair is centered by seven turned spindles leading to a matched stretcher towards the lumbar area of the back. The chair features contoured arms and an upholstered seat. The front apron shows a matched design to the back and is placed between turned posts leading down to a long rocker base. See less
