This pair of model 53 armchairs was manufactured by Ton in the 1950s to 1960s. They were designed by Jaroslav Smidek. The interior has been changed and covered with a gray colored fabric upholstery. The frame is in bent beech. The beech elements cleaned and painted in oak mordant and polished with a lacquer. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
