Very beautiful realization out of glass of ovoid form and assembled out of silver plated metal, of the famous manufacturer of glass d`argyl val, e and co, old house effler of 1928, installed from 218 to 220 faubourg saint martin in paris.
amethyst color with silvering, the details are engraved with stylized floral decorations.

after acquiring in 1890 the effler company, specialized in goldsmithing and the mounting of crystals on pieces with silvered metal mounts, e. Val & cie proceeded to set up a doorstep to sell its products and an art gallery to exhibit various earthenware, glass and porcelain objects.
it will propose colored vases made in bohemia with art nouveau style mountings. She will then buy from legras, saint denis and pantin glass factories, all of which will bear the val signature (enamel or engraved).
daum's turn will come via the verrerie d'art lorrain in croismare for exclusive models.
the brand d'argyl will be registered by this company in 1928. The parts will be manufactured by the glass factory of art lorrain-verrerie de la belle etoile always in croismare which will be under the responsibility of paul daum.
the signature d'argyl is also used for the artistic objects distributed by e. Val & cie until 1940. This piece has an attribution mark,

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
