Beautifully proportioned set of four metal dining chairs, an authentic representation of the iconic American mid-century Atomic design aesthetic. Complete sets are getting impossible to find!
The green and teal vinyl seats have an incredibly vibrant luster with just the right amount of patina, the photos captured the richness of the colors very well.
No maker's mark can be found, only the contents labels remain. We are fairly sure these were made by Antarenni as we have sold a very similar set in the past with the same exact back and finial design.

There are lots of scuffs, marks, scratches, paint loss and oxidation to the metal, all typical of age and use. These chairs are almost 75 years old! The tops of the metal seat backs and legs show the heaviest paint loss and oxidation, there are areas where the paint loss is complete to the metal underneath. The brass ball finials show heavy patina. The chair feet show heavy oxidation. The two green seats are whole, with no rips or splits to the vinyl. One teal seat shows a 2" split on the top surface, the other teal seat shows a 1" split on the front edge piping, please review the last two photos. The underside cardboard material backing the seat has toned considerably and is crumbling in spots. These chairs were found stored in the attic and we spent some time cleaning the surface dust. As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left these chairs in the original, as-found condition. These chairs could use a thorough cleaning and detailing if they are to be used in the home. Please review all the detailed photos as we have made an effort to show all the imperfections. less
