Wonderful Escabel with wood structure and brown leather seat, made in the 70s. It presents double curvature legs, in the form of X, reminiscent of the Roman seat chair (in Latin, seal curulis) a seat reserved for people more illustrious of society, the magistrates. The seat upholstery is Capitoné and Tachuelado. The Capitoné is a upholstery technique that consists of making a jalonado on the fabric and the foam in the form of rhombuses, ensuring the fabric with buttons.
According to Tito Livio, the chair came from Eturia; However, this type of "scissors" chairs were already known in the New Empire of Egypt. They were usually ivory, without support and with low arms. It was easily transportable, for example so that they could also use the military chiefs in the campaign.
Actually, its use has never been lost, since its form has served as inspiration during the passing of the years. For example, the famous Barcelona chair of Mies van der Rohe is directly inspired by its structure. He even arrived in China, through the silk route.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
