Philly drawing by Vermont artist Frank Wallace (1915/18-2003). Most of Wallace's work in this period is in the Logan Square area of Center City where he must have lived near the PAFA.
Wallace was born in Toledo, Ohio and grew ip in Massachusetts attending Phillips Academy and Amherst College. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia (1939-40) and the Art Students League in New York (1945) before earning his Masters in art education from NYU in 1948.
