Childhood pleasures and childhood dreams, French style.
New old stock from the 1960's, this one of a lot of posters which were unearthed from storage and thus are pristine... and quite wonderful. Originally intended for instruction of young students in the primary grades, they are incredibly detailed, with lush color on heavy stock paper. Here we have a lovely scene of a family harvesting fruits from the garden which flips over to a bucolic scene of the French countryside, albeit with road traffic and a speed trap! Both are great vignettes of French life.
This poster measures 25 1/2" x 39" and is in excellent unused condition.
