The majority of Balouchi rugs are woven in the province Sistan-Baluchistan, which is in the Southeastern part of Iran. A lot of Balouchi rugs also come out of Iran's vast province of Khorassan which is just to the north. Balouchi rugs typically have geometric patterns and lively designs, and dominant colors include blues, reds and browns. The knot count per square inch for this rug is 180.
